Welcome to Single Focus Young Adults Ministry
Single Focus exists to help single young adults find and follow Jesus by knowing, loving, living, and giving the Gospel to the glory of God.
Join our Young Adults Community
At Single Focus, we serve young adults aged 18-32 to find and follow Jesus through engaging activities, Bible studies, and community outreach. Join us as we connect, grow, and serve together! We’re the young adults ministry of Colonial Hills Baptist Church.
What is Single Focus?
Single Focus is the young adults ministry at Colonial Hills Baptist Church, designed for singles aged 18-32. Our mission is to help you find and follow Jesus through knowing, loving, and giving the Gospel to the glory of God.
What is Colonial Hills Baptist Church?
Colonial Hills is our church family! We’re just south of Keystone at the Crossing on the north side of Indianapolis (8140 Union Chapel Road, Indianapolis, IN 46240). Colonial is a church home for all people. Learn more about our church at colonialindy.org!
What are the service times for the ministry?
On Sundays, we have our Single Focus small groups at 9:00am and the all-church morning service is at 10:15am. We also have Sunday evening services at 6:00pm, sometimes followed by a Sunday Night Fellowship in homes or at a local restaurant.
Our Wednesday 7pm service, Midweek Connection, is one of our most important core meeting times each week. We come together as Single Focus to worship God through song, prayer, fun, preaching of God’s Word, and discussion groups.
What is our Collegians for Christ campus ministry?
CFC is our evangelistic campus ministry aimed at reaching college students at IU Indy and Purdue Indy with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We organize outreach events, Bible studies, and fellowship opportunities to connect students with Christ and each other.
What is the Gospel?
The word Gospel literally means “good news.” Every single person is a sinner (Romans 3:23), and that sin separates us from God and bears the consequence of eternal death (Romans 6:23). In an act of incredible love, God the Father sent God the Son, Jesus Christ, to live a sinless life on earth, die on the cross in your place, and take the wrath of God upon Himself so that you wouldn’t have to (John 3:23; Romans 5:8). Now, He offers salvation freely to all who would call upon Him and accept His free gift of salvation (Romans 10:9-10, 13; Ephesians 2:8-9). Want to learn more about this incredible salvation? How can I get involved in activities?
You can get involved by checking our activities page here on the website, following us on Instagram, and joining us during our Sunday and Wednesday services. The best way to sharpen each other until love and good works is by being together as much as possible! (Hebrews 10:24-25)
